Rust Developer (Equity Position)

Our mission is to create a world where everyone has access to the financial tools, they need to achieve their goals and live their best lives.This position is specifically for RUST developers ***Backend Developer-Specific Requirement:Strong backend development experienceStrong experience in a low-level programming language: Rust, JavaScript, PHP, GO, Haskell, C, PythonAmazon Web Services (AWS)Extism plugin development experience (or at least some kind of plugin experienceAPI development experienceNice to have:Lemmy development experienceOpen-source software experienceCustom integrations experienceResponsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend systems for mobile applications and websites, ensuring high performance and reliability.Collaborate with front-end developers, mobile app developers, and designers to integrate backend functionality seamlessly into user interfaces.Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between frontend interfaces and backend services.Optimize database queries and data access methods to improve application performance and responsiveness.Implement authentication, authorization, and security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.Monitor server infrastructure, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance scalability and stability.Work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions that meet project deadlines.Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve backend issues and ensure the overall quality of the product.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in backend development, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain backend services in cloud environments.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
