Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Program Manager to lead key customer programs from quoting and estimating through execution and delivery. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting accurate cost estimating to ensure successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, experience in program/project management, and a solid understanding of estimating, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Program Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Manage customer programs from initial request through completion
Coordinate internal teams across engineering, purchasing, production, and logistics
Ensure schedules, deliverables, and customer expectations are met
Provide regular status updates and resolve issues proactively
Estimating & Quoting Support
Develop and manage project estimates, including labor, materials, and outside services
Support quoting activities and ensure accuracy in pricing and scope
Work closely with engineering and operations to validate cost assumptions
Track changes in scope and update estimates as needed
Execution & Continuous Improvement
Monitor program performance, costs, and timelines
Identify risks and implement corrective actions
Support process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in program management, customer account management, or project management
Experience with estimating, quoting, or cost analysis in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc. a plus)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Background in industrial manufacturing, structural steel, fabrication, or construction-related estimating
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Experience working directly with customers and internal production teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
