Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Preferred Practice Therapy is seeking a dedicated and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our clinic-based pediatric team serving children ages 18 months to 3 years. Position Responsibilities Provide clinic-based speech and language therapy to children ages 18 months–3 years Deliver play-based, developmentally appropriate intervention Collaborate with supervising SLPs on treatment planning and progress monitoring Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to support whole-child development Engage families through education, coaching, and carryover strategies Maintain timely and accurate documentation Qualifications Current California SLPA license Pediatric experience preferred; early intervention experience strongly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with young children and families Compensation OptionsHourly Option $40.00 – $55.00 per hour (based on experience) Paid documentation and progress report collaboration time Salaried Option $75,000 – $80,000 annually 7 days of paid time off (PTO) Employer contribution toward medical, dental, and vision benefits Continuing education stipend Paid administrative/documentation time included Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and role structure.
