Client Services Assistant

Roetzel & Andress LPA , a multi-state law firm with an administrative center in Fairlawn, Ohio, has an immediate opening for a full-time Client Services Assistant to support the Finance Department. This position is in-house with the possibility of hybrid after individual has met skill proficiency as required by management team.Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with clients by email and phone to assist with payments and inquires.Provide copies of invoices.Handle client calls to assist with credit card payments, address concerns or questions as necessaryGather information to process/submit appeal responses on ebilling sitesWork closely with attorneys and staff to resolve billing or payment application questionsProvide reports to clients/attorneys/management via Elite-3E or Excel, as requestedReview of accounts receivable agingSubmittal of write off requestsAssist with other accounting tasks and special projects, as neededKey Billing Skills and Competencies Proven aptitude to learn new software applications, processes and assist with developing procedures and policiesOrganizing and prioritizingAttention to detail and accuracyConfidentialitySound judgmentExcellent communication skillsEnd user relationship skillsInformation management skillsProblem analysis and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a team environmentProfessional integrityAbility to meet tight deadlines in challenging situationsEducation and Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and ExcelKnowledge of general accounting proceduresKnowledge of relevant accounting software (Elite-3E) preferredPrevious experience in electronic invoicing sites preferredKnowledge of billing and e-billing processes preferredProficient in data entry and time managementAccounting degree or 2+ years of customer service and general accounting experience requiredThe candidate must also pass a credit and background check as a condition for employment.Competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
