We deliver mobile nuclear cardiology imaging services directly to physician offices, outpatient clinics, and hospitals across Arizona — bringing high-quality cardiac diagnostics where patients need them most.Our NMTs work alongside MDOS Cardiac Stress Technicians (CSTs) and clinic staff in a collaborative, team-based environment. Technologists may support mobile imaging operations serving multiple clinic locations or may be assigned to consistent clinic sites depending on operational needs and employment status.Daily WorkflowOn scheduled days, technologists typically support outpatient cardiology clinic locations while working alongside a dedicated MDOS Cardiac Stress Technician (CST). Clinic schedules are generally heaviest Tuesday through Thursday.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cardiac nuclear stress testing and imaging proceduresPrepare and administer radiopharmaceuticalsOperate nuclear medicine imaging equipmentMaintain accurate patient documentation and imaging recordsFollow radiation safety standards and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with Cardiac Stress Technicians and clinic staffEnsure a safe and professional patient care environmentQualificationsARRT(N) or NMTCB certificationActive Arizona Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (or ability to obtain prior to start date)Current BLS certification from the American Heart AssociationValid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate company fleet vehiclesStrong patient care and communication skillsAbility to travel to clinic locations when requiredEducation & ExperienceDegree or certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology1+ year of nuclear medicine imaging experience preferred, particularly cardiac imagingExperience performing quality assurance on nuclear medicine equipment preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to assist patients and remain on your feet for extended periodsAbility to push or maneuver mobile medical equipment (up to 800 lbs)Work EnvironmentTechnologists provide services in physician offices, outpatient clinics, and hospital settings as part of MDOS AZ's mobile imaging program. As with all healthcare roles, exposure to infectious diseases and radiation is possible. MDOS technologists follow strict radiation safety protocols, including use of personal radiation monitoring badges and protective equipment.
