TSR is seeking a Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, Start-up and Operations (PC&CSO) Technical Editor for a multi-billion USD dollar LNG Project for our client, a global leader in the EPC Industry. This position will be in Houston, TX at the Home Office.Learn more here: https://venturegloballng.com/project-plaquemines/Job Summary:Skilled Technical Editor with computer literacy and knowledge of the construction and commissioning industry.Responsible for reviewing, revising, and editing technical documents primarily using Microsoft Word.Responsible for reviewing, revising, and editing technical documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.Detail-oriented and collaborative, working with various teams to produce high-quality technical content.Key Responsibilities:Review and edit technical documents: manuals, and procedures to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in documents.Correct grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.Organize and manage document repositories.Maintain version control and track changes.Work with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders.Facilitate review and approval of technical documents.Verify documents comply with regulations and guidelines.Format documents per company templates and style guides.Incorporate graphics, charts, and diagrams for readability.Use advanced word processing and document management software.Stay updated with the latest software tools and technologies.Education/CredentialsBachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.Minimum 3 years in technical editing or related role.Preferred experience in the construction and commissioning industry.Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and WordSkills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and document management software.Preferred Attributes:Certification in Technical Writing or related field.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Familiar with construction and commissioning terminology and processes.
