Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. Duties: - Prepare and cook meals following established recipes and portion control guidelines - Assist in menu planning, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences - Ensure adherence to food safety standards by practicing proper food handling and storage procedures - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment and utensils - Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation and service efficiently - Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs or shortages promptly Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a kitchen environment - Proficiency in various cooking techniques and familiarity with culinary terminology - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while paying attention to detail - Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks accordingly - Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset for effective collaboration - Flexibility to adapt to changing menus, schedules, and customer demands - Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices Join our team and contribute your culinary expertise to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
