Job DescriptionTax Director - Partnership Track - Excellent Growth OpportunityAbout the Opportunity:gpac has partnered with a well-established public accounting firm, with multiple offices in the region, that is seeking an experienced Tax Director to join our growing team. This role offers a clear pathway to partnership for the right candidate who demonstrates leadership, technical expertise, and client relationship skills. They serve a diverse client base of small to middle market businesses and high-net-worth individuals across various industries.What You'll Do:Lead tax compliance and planning for business and individual clientsOversee and review tax returns including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trustsDevelop and implement best practices for tax compliance and client serviceMentor and develop junior staff membersBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsIdentify and implement tax planning opportunities for clientsContribute to the strategic growth of the firmQualifications:15+ years of experience in public accountingM.S. in Taxation / Accounting with EA/CPA certification or on track to obtain EA/CPAStrong experience with business returns and small business clientsProficiency with tax software such as CCH Prosystem Tax & Engagement and/or Thomson Reuters solutionsExperience with QuickBooks Desktop & Online implementation and maintenanceExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to professional growth and developmentWhat They Offer:Clear partnership track for the right candidateCompetitive compensation up to $200,000 based on experienceComprehensive benefits packageStable, year-round position with consistent 40-hour work weeksProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentAbout The Firm:This is a respected public accounting firm with a strong reputation for providing exceptional service to their clients.
