Our team is committed to building reliable equipment while fostering a culture focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Position SummaryTimesavers LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team on first shift. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling industrial machinery and mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality equipment is built safely, efficiently, and accurately.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machines using hand and power toolsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructionsInstall bearings, shafts, motors, belts, pulleys, hydraulic and pneumatic componentsPerform mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper machine operationInspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracyTroubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWork collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teamsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresAssist with machine testing and final assembly when requiredQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferredAbility to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprintsExperience using hand tools, measuring tools, and power toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsForklift and overhead crane experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityWork EnvironmentAt times, the noise level can be loud on the assembly floor.The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk.Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand, walk, bend, and reach.Frequently lift and move parts or assemblies up to 50 lbs.Use of hands to handle or operate tools, equipment, or parts.Frequently positions self to kneel, crouch, or stoop to look at machines or equipment.Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.Constantly uses basic tools to adjust and assemble machines.Ability to interpret job orders.BenefitsCompetitive hourly payHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysLife and disability insuranceOpportunities for advancement and trainingEqual Employment OpportunityInCompass LLC and its subsidiaries (Bourn & Koch LLC, Clausing Industrial LLC, DuBois Equipment Company LLC, Timesavers LLC, Newman Machine LLC).
