Community Programs Representative (Internship)Location: Fullerton, CA + Surrounding Cities (Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Westminster, Orange, Buena Park)About the RoleWe are seeking motivated and community-focused college students to join our team as Community Programs Representatives (Internship). This role offers hands-on experience in public outreach, event-based engagement, and program promotion-ideal for students looking to build real-world communication, marketing, or public service skills.As part of the outreach team, you will represent our organization at community events, resource fairs, and local venues. This position requires regular local travel, so a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a frontline representative at scheduled community events and outreach locationsEngage local residents, share program information, and answer questionsPromote program awareness and encourage community participationAssist with event setup, distribution of materials, and clean-up after each activationTrack attendance, gather feedback, and submit reports to program leadershipCoordinate with the outreach team to increase event impact and visibilityTravel independently to multiple locations within Fullerton and surrounding areas QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an accredited college or universityPreferred majors: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Social SciencesStrong verbal communication skills and confidence engaging diverse community membersValid California driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of auto insuranceProfessional, dependable, and self-directed with strong initiativeFlexible availability, including some weekendsPrior experience in customer service, events, or outreach is beneficial but not required Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay + performance-based incentivesEligible for academic credit (subject to school approval)Flexible scheduling to support academic commitmentsHands-on experience in marketing, event operations, and community engagementAccess to mentorship, professional development, and letters of recommendationOpportunities for advancement into paid or leadership roles Why Join UsThis internship is ideal for students who value community impact and want to gain meaningful field experience.
