Adecco is recruiting for a Material Control Specialist for a manufacturing company located in Export, PA. The main responsibility is to maintain inventory control and prepare inventory for production. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity! Please Apply Now!Job Responsibilities:Prepare inventory for shipment by ensuring packing slips are accurate and by properly packing items for shipment per sales order acknowledgement / ship listReview pull sheet; pull and kit parts based on pick lists generated by enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemReceive inventory when needed by physically receiving component parts, unpacking materials, and preparing them for placement into inventoryInspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet intended design standardsAssist with inventory countsEnter information into the ERP systemFollow any packing/shipping instructionsEvaluates and prepares incoming parts prior to arrival at production lineAssist in monitoring inventory levelsQualifications and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years' experience with inventory control, shipping and receiving operationsAbility to multitask while maintaining attention to detailWorking knowledge of ERP inventory management systems preferredProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookPhysical requirements:Ability to handle boxes, crates, small component parts, and large products for the purposes of unpacking, moving to storage, and packing for deliveryAbility to lift, transport, and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to walk and stand for long periods at a timeMonday through Friday daylight hoursStarting pay $22 to $24 per hour depending on experiencePlease Apply Now!Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
