ApplyDescriptionUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDContingent Contract AwardHybrid RoleThis role requires an active Secret clearanceConnected Logistics is seeking a Front End UI/UX Design Developer II with a CISSP certification to perform basic asset creation to UX strategy and design leadership. At Level II, you are responsible for the overall "look and feel" and usability of the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) and other digital tools that Navy leadership uses to track multi-billion dollar acquisition programs.Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate has a strong foundation in UI/UX design and front-end development, with the ability to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging, functional designs. Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environment. Familiarity with government or DoD digital standards. Experience with design systems and component-based UI development.Design and develop responsive websites, web applications, and digital interfacesCreate wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designsApply UX principles to ensure intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiencesCollaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine requirementsImplement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworksEnsure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and scalabilityConduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design improvementsMaintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component librariesEnsure compliance with accessibility standardsSupport integration of web interfaces with backend systems and APIsDevelop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces. Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers and devices. Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes. May develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other computer applications.RequirementsUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDBachelor's Degree in Engineering or IT with greater than 4 years of experience in a related field OR a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.Active Secret level government clearance.CISSP or CSSLP certification required. Proof of certification required.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.Familiarity with usability testing, prototyping, and user research methods.Knowledge of accessibility standards.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Total Rewards StatementWe believe in fairness and clarity throughout our hiring process.
