Client: CTDI Job ID: CTDI - 17 Job Title: Tech B Location: 1373 Enterprise Drive, West Chester, PA 19380-5959 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: 1st Shift 7:15AM 3:30PM Pay Rate: $20.50/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: 2nd Shift 3:30PM 11:30PM Pay Rate: $20.50/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: 3rd Shift 11PM 7AM These Tech B's will need soldering skills and will have to interview and pass a skills test to be eligible for hire. These positions are required to an in-person interview along with having to pass a skills test onsite.RequirementsSoldering experience would be preferred . Both thru-hole & surface-mount soldering on a PCB (printed circuit board).Electronics troubleshooting & component-level repair experience on PCBs (printed circuit boards).Electronic repair work on motherboards/circuit boards preferred.Testing/Troubleshooting/Repair at the component-level. Will work on radio antennas/amplifier transmitters.Duties and Responsibilities: " Conducts testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components. " Analyzes issues down to the component level. " Maintain efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects. " Ability to read schematic diagrams. " Comply with quality performance standards. " Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. " Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. " All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience: " Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable. " Solid understanding of various technology systems and applications, including knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory. " Proficient in utilizing test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators and volt meters. " Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques. Able to perform both surface mount and thru hole techniques. " Utilize analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot down to the component level. " Handling Hard Drive devices and keeping ESD policy standards. " Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment. " Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion. " Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units. Preferred Skills and Experience: " Previous technical experience. " Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. " Capability to train and assist users in effective technology utilization. " Time-management skills. " Eagerness for continuous learning. " Written and verbal communication skills. Educational Requirements Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent Electronics certification, or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions " Warehouse environment. " The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary. " The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary. " The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
