Heavy Civil Project Estimator

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Project Estimator in the Cedar Rapids area to prepare cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects such as roads, bridges, and utilities. The estimator will review project plans, gather pricing, and develop accurate bids to support winning contracts.Project Estimator Responsibilities:Analyze project plans and specificationsPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimatesCoordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricingWork with project managers and engineers to develop bidsMaintain estimating databases and documentationProject Estimator Qualifications:Experience estimating heavy civil construction projects preferredProficiency in HCSS HeavyBid is highly preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsGood communication skills and team collaborationIf you are interested in this Project Estimator role in the Cedar Rapids area please apply!
