This role is responsible for leading engineering initiatives, driving design excellence, and ensuring the successful development of automation products. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities to guide teams, optimize processes, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions that support organizational goals.Location & Work TypeWork Type: OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesLead and manage mechanical engineering teams focused on automation product development.Oversee mechanical design processes, ensuring compliance with quality and performance standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design, manufacturing, and engineering workflows.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems.Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.Ensure proper application of tolerance analysis, inspection techniques, and material selection.Support problem-solving efforts and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.Manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation EngineeringStrong technical skills with systems-oriented thinking and deep knowledge of mechanical processesAt least 8 years of experience, including time in a managerial role in mechanical engineering within automation or a related fieldExperience in mechanical design for automation products or similar areasStrong knowledge of tolerance analysis, inspection techniques, standard components, machining processes, material parameters, and surface treatment principles related to machiningProficiency with engineering tools such as CAD, SolidWorks, PDM, Agile, or similarExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong communication skills in both English and SpanishPreferred (Optional):Knowledge and experience in electrical design and control systemsExperience with advanced engineering methodologies and toolsStrong leadership and team collaboration skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical in problem-solvingAbout UsSTAND 8 provides end-to-end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and globally with offices in Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Mexico, Japan, India, and more.
