Must have a good knowledge of landscaping methods and be proficient with a variety of tools and equipment. Will be expected to perform a variety of tasks including snow removal, lawn care, landscape bed maintenance, assistance with hardscaping and masonry tasks, as well as general labor tasks related to our maintenance and construction efforts, including light construction demo, job-site clean-ups, roof repair, and moving furniture and appliances.In addition, please:· Take personal responsibility for yourself and pride in a job well done· Enjoy using your problem solving skills and learn new things quickly· Multi-task with a positive attitude· Be able to work individually as well as within a team environment· Be flexible, dedicated, detail-oriented and personable while working in a fast paced environmentResponsibilities:Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws and hedge or brush trimmers.Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning sawsWater lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cansPrune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chainsawsGather and remove litterInteract with customers in a professional and friendly mannerQualifications:Past experience as a landscaper/groundskeeper preferredExperience with the use of hand-held and power toolsMust be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 40+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of timeWilling to work in all weather elements
