Position Summary
Abba Roller is seeking a Wheel Assembler for the Symbotic Production Line. This position is responsible for assembling urethane and rubber caster wheels while ensuring quality, accuracy, and production efficiency. The Wheel Assembler will perform wheel preparation, request materials from the stockroom, press bearings into hubs, and laser etch serial information onto completed wheels. The ideal candidate learns quickly, works efficiently, maintains quality standards, and works well within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Job ResponsibilitiesAssemble urethane and rubber caster wheels according to work instructions and production requirementsClean and prepare wheel components prior to assemblyPress bearings into hubs using approved equipment and processesOperate laser etching equipment to apply serial numbers and identification markings to finished wheelsRequest and coordinate required materials from the stockroom to support production flowInspect components and finished assemblies to ensure quality standards are metVerify work orders, part numbers, and production documentation for accuracyMaintain organized work areas and follow 5S standardsFollow all safety procedures and properly use required PPECommunicate quality concerns, material shortages, or process issues to leadershipSupport other production and assembly operations as neededPerform additional duties as assignedJob Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferredExperiencePrevious manufacturing or assembly experience preferredExperience with hand tools, presses, or industrial equipment is a plusSkillsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to follow work instructions and production schedulesBasic mechanical aptitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to manage time effectively and maintain productivity goalsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motionsAbility to work safely around industrial equipment and moving partsWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production environmentExposure to industrial equipment, noise, dust, and production materialsRequired use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protectionBenefits:
