Coates Insurance Group is hiring for a fully remote sales role focused on life insurance and mortgage protection.This position tends to attract a certain kind of person. Someone dependable. Someone who takes coaching well, stays on top of their responsibilities, and does not need to be pushed every step of the way. The work matters, the conversations are real, and the people who do well here usually care a lot about improving over time.You do not need prior insurance experience to be considered. We provide guidance through the licensing process, along with training and support as you get started. What matters most is your mindset, your consistency, and how you handle responsibility.What you’ll be doingThis is a sales role centered on helping prospective clients explore coverage that fits their needs. You will spend time speaking with people, asking good questions, following up, learning the products, and getting better at leading clear, honest conversations.A normal week may include:Connecting with prospective clients by phone or virtual appointmentLearning how to present life insurance and mortgage protection options clearlyFollowing up consistently and keeping your schedule organizedManaging your own activity and staying accountable to your goalsApplying feedback from training and coaching to improve your resultsThis is a remote role, but it is not passive. The people who usually gain traction here are the ones who stay disciplined with their time, keep their word, and treat the work seriously even when nobody is watching.Training and supportWe do not expect the right person to already know everything coming in.There is training, mentorship, and ongoing support as you learn the role. If you are not yet licensed, we can help guide you through that process. There is also access to lead systems and to individuals who have requested information, though that part is something agents manage and invest in themselves.
