Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico – On-site (5 days per week) Fluency in Spanish and English - written and verbal In this position, you will serve as the operational backbone of a regional project management organization, driving governance, planning, and end-to-end coordination of a portfolio of healthcare software implementation, upgrade, and deployment initiatives. We are seeking an operational coordinator who understands both the clinical and technical landscape. You will work at the intersection of technical delivery teams, regional stakeholders, and quality assurance processes to ensure projects are delivered predictably, compliantly, and on schedule. Main Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery Coordinate the day-to-day execution of international, cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery and operational consistency. Monitor project activities, timelines, and deliverables to maintain schedule adherence. Governance & Planning Maintain project schedules and documentation. Coordinate resource allocation and support project planning and staffing activities across regional teams. Ensure adherence to established project governance processes and reporting standards. Risk & Quality Management Identify project risks proactively and maintain mitigation plans. Support delivery activities that align with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices. Assist with project audits, documentation, and compliance activities as required. Performance & KPI Tracking Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Provide regular project status updates and reporting to leadership to support informed decision-making. Stakeholder Management Serve as a primary point of contact between regional teams, local IT, implementation partners, and technical stakeholders. Facilitate clear communication regarding project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. Qualifications You are a highly organized, process-oriented professional with a strong technical or healthcare background who enjoys coordinating complex initiatives and driving projects forward. Required Qualifications Experience working in IT, software implementation, healthcare technology, or medical technology environments. Familiarity with software implementation lifecycles and technical project coordination. Comfortable working alongside technical teams, even without hands-on software engineering or development experience. Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining project documentation, governance processes, risk registers, and KPI reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting projects within regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or other compliance-driven environments. Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO standards, or regulated implementation processes is a plus.
