Job SummaryThe Sussex County Miners are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join the maintenance team at Skylands Stadium. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for fans, players, and staff. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping a facility operating at a high level.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance and upkeep of stadium facilities, including seating areas, concourses, restrooms, and exterior groundsAssist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, tents, signage, and other equipmentComplete minor repairs such as basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasksMaintain cleanliness of the ballpark before, during, and after games/eventsMonitor facility conditions and report any safety concerns or needed repairsAssist with field maintenance tasks as neededSupport other departments to ensure smooth game day and event operationsQualificationsPrior maintenance, facilities, or custodial experience preferred (but not required)Ability to operate basic tools and equipmentStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environmentMust be able to lift 25-50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periodsSchedule RequirementsMust be available for nights, weekends, and holidaysAvailability for all home games and stadium events is strongly preferredCompensationHourly pay based on experienceOpportunity to work in a fun, team-oriented sports environmentWhy Join the Miners?Be part of a professional baseball organizationGain hands-on experience in sports and event operationsWork in a high-energy, fan-focused atmosphereOpportunity to grow within the organizationHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume and a brief description of their availability.
