Summer Camp - Creative Arts Specialist

Kateri Day Camp offers exceptional pay and a fun, outdoor work environment! Working at Kateri Day Camp will give you hands-on experience managing a diverse group of children, developing creative activities and lessons, and growing your understanding of young people.Kateri Day Camp is a non-profit summer camp that provides over 200 children from low-income families, ages 5-15, and a safe, wholesome summer camp experience. Daily activities include swim lessons, hikes, nature, games, sports, arts & crafts, literacy, science, and many special events.Summer Camp Creative Arts Specialist- Responsible for developing and implementing a fun, educational creative arts program for campers ages 5-15. Must be energetic, fun-loving, and able to engage campers in a variety of projects that encourage imagination, art appreciation, and creativity using an assortment of mediums. The position includes teaching arts and crafts, painting, cooking, etc. Pursuing or currently holds a college degree in art; Art teacher preferred.Pay: $23.00 per hourQualifications:Must have a sincere desire to work with children.Must be able to work the entire summer and attend mandatory training.Must be hardworking, diligent, energetic, respectful, and responsible.Must love being outdoors.2025 Camp dates:June 22- August 7th, Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:30. Must be present all days of camp. No vacation days.Mandatory training dates: June 13th-June 20th.First Aid and CPR certifications are required for all summer staff.
