Our aim isn’t just about improving buildings; it’s about creating perfect places that improve people’s lives.Transform the everyday with us!The Fire/Life Safety Sales/Sr. Sales/Account Executive is responsible for supporting growth across both Service Agreements and Solutions (new construction and retrofit) sales within Siemens Smart Buildings. In this role, you will partner with customers to deliver fire alarm and life safety solutions that help ensure safe, compliant, and high-performing buildings.You will work alongside experienced sales professionals and operations teams to develop your sales skills, build customer relationships, and contribute to both recurring service business and project-based opportunities.As a Fire/Life Safety Sales Executive, You WillAchievement of new order/booking and profit goals within assigned territoryAssist in developing and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline, including opportunity tracking and forecastingIdentify customer needs and recommend service agreements, system upgrades, and new solutionsBuild foundational knowledge of fire/life safety systems, services, and applicable codes and standardsDevelopment of proposals, estimates, and customer presentations in collaboration with senior team membersParticipate in customer meetings, site visits, and surveys to understand building requirements and project scopeDevelop relationships with customers, contractors, and internal partnersCollaborate with operations, estimating, and support teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfactionStay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologiesParticipate in sales meetings, training programs, and industry networking eventsSupport both existing account growth and new customer acquisition effortsSpend time in customer-facing activities to build experience and confidence in the fieldBasic/Required QualificationsYou will make an impact with these qualifications:Entry-Level (Sales Executive): 2+ years of sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with demonstrated interest or experience in customer-facing, sales, or business development activitiesMid-Level (Sr. Sales Executive): 2+ years of sales experience in the commercial fire alarm / life safety industry or directly related such as low-voltage/electricalSenior-Level (Account Executive): 5+ years of sales experience in the commercial fire alarm / life safety industry Financial expertise to estimate and sell technical solutions and service offerings effectively and independentlyAccount development and strategic sales skills; organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills; verbal and written communication skills in EnglishHigh school diploma or state-recognized GEDMust be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens’ fleet vehicle programLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or EngineeringSalesforce CRMSales experience in the commercial Fire Alarm / Life Safety, Software, or IoT industriesExperience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, and commercial office vertical marketsExperience selling to end users/owners and demonstrated understanding of how to market, position, and sell cloud-based, data-driven service programs such as fault detection and diagnostics to existing and new customers Ready to create your own journey? Join us today!About SiemensWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
