This role provides hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and enhancing the candidate experience. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.District OverviewTIC Power (TICP) is a subsidiary of Kiewit Corporation that provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a non-union craft force. Strength in estimating and pre-project planning. Constructing cogeneration, combined-cycle, geothermal and waste-to-energy generation and resource facilities. This means your Kiewit adventure is custom-designed to meet our shared needs.ResponsibilitiesAssist in sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and internal databasesScreen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidatesSupport scheduling and coordination of interviews between candidates and hiring managersMaintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)Help draft and post job descriptions across various platformsConduct initial outreach to candidates and support candidate communicationsPrepare recruiting reports and track key hiring metricsEnsure a positive candidate experience by providing timely updates and communicationSupport recruitment projects and process improvement initiatives as neededQualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fieldStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalismProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with ATS tools is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentInterest in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR as a career pathPositive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong teamwork skillsPrevious internship or experience in HR, customer service, or administrative rolesFamiliarity with LinkedIn or other sourcing platformsBasic understanding of recruitment processes and best practicesOther Requirements:Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.Perform work safely and effectively.
