WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park that combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.WonderWorks Syracuse is looking for Admissions Attendants to join our team! Our Admissions Attendants are the first to interact with our guests as they welcome them into the adventure of the upside-down building. Admissions Attendants are an intrinsic part of positive ticket sale interactions including sharing valuable information with guests, setting the tone for the WONDERful experiences they have in store for them inside the attraction!Responsibilities: Greet, welcome, and interact with all guests as they enter and exit the attractionAnswer guest questions and offer assistance in a friendly manner that provides exceptional customer serviceAccurately process transactions through a point-of-sale system including proper cash handling in a high-volume environmentUpsell guests on additional services offered at the point of sale including combo tickets, souvenir books, and ticketed shows if applicableAnswer phones and courteously redirect calls to the appropriate departmentMaintain a clean and organized work environmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications: Excellent communication skills and customer service skillsObservational skills to ensure safe practices and recognize guest needsBasic mathematical skills, as needed to make changeAbility to stand or walk throughout the work area for prolonged periodsAbility to lift and/or move up to 25 poundsAbility to work any shift including nights, weekends, holidays, and weather conditions requiredPrevious themed entertainment and sales experience is preferredWonderWorks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
