Shih Applied Behavior Analysis-SABA offer a variety of services to address the needs of individuals evidence and scientific research.intervention based on the highest industry standards. This includes using the most current Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)Shih Applied Behavior Analysis prides itself in providing of all ages with autism and other developmental disabilities.
We customize our services to meet the individual needs of each client and family. All of the therapeutic services that we provide are supervised by an experienced and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
The pay is hourly and ranges based on experience, education, and languages spoken.
We are currently looking to hire in and around the following Kern County: Bakersfield, Shafter, Lamont, Arvin, Wasco, and Delano
JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervises Behavior Interventionists/RBT accuracy of all recorded data is correct and accurate.
Regularly perform fidelity checks on Behavior Interventionist/RBT.
Plans and leads weekly and bi-monthly progress updates for each family served with program team.
Assists in creating and delivering specific intervention and behavior intervention plan.
Provides parent education according to treatment plan or other individualized assessments.
Monitors the skill acquisition of children and adults diagnosed on the autism spectrum in natural settings.
Completes and maintains documentation: evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports and exit summaries, and keeps updated with other programs, and participant-related documents and reports.
Provides and coordinates on-going competency-based staff training (BST).
Provides and attends: staff meetings, in-services, treatment planning, trainings, and other meetings.
Maintains frequent, professional and courteous communications with participants and families.
Communicates parental concerns and needs immediately to the clinical supervisor (BCBA).
Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in autism, ABA, special education and related fields.
Provides coverage for direct services as needed and/or half direct therapy sessions
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Enroll in Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Applied Behavior Analysis. Preferred
Three years of professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders .
Minimum One year of supervisor experience. Preferred
Knowledge of evidence-based practices, and scientifically-validated methodologies and approaches.
Familiar with the field of early intervention; knowledge of other community resources and agencies that serve children.directing behavior analytic methodologies including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and other evidence based treatment.)

Strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills.
Interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
Communicate effectively, through oral and written skills, and work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups.
Must relate well to children and their families and maintain positive affect.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and related computer software (CentralReach).
Must have negative TB test & clear criminal background check.
Open available Monday – Friday, Weekend availability 8:00a.m. to 7:30p.m.
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance
Commute within 30 miles between client
Bilingual a plus
