Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls Engineer nResponsibilities nnnParticipate in the development of new manufacturing equipment, integration, and improvement initiatives to support advanced manufacturing. n nnCollaborate with Advanced Manufacturing & Technology engineering staff and Operations PLs to ensure schedule attainment and provide robust documentation for machine development activities. n nnConceptualize and design machine electrical controls solutions, including safety system integration, schematics development, and on-machine wiring. n nnDemonstrate strong motion control and synchronized motion programming skills. n nnDevelop electrical schematics using CAD tools. n nnIntegrate PLCs, HMIs, servo and VFD drives, industrial robots, machine vision and inspection systems, laser marking and welding, and safety systems. n nnStay informed about NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, ANSI B11, and ANSI R15 standards. n nnIdentify and implement new technologies and controls strategies to develop robust controls solutions and integrate existing platforms. n nnEmphasize the use of Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs. n n nJob Type & Location nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, WI. nPay and Benefits nThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $75.00/hr. nEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
