The Observation unit is a very fast-paced environment that turns over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. The unit has 24/7 provider coverage and cares for a diverse adult population of both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients. These patients will range from short stay to full admissions.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Observation unit.Monitor and assess patient conditions to make informed care decisions.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Manage fast-paced patient turnover while maintaining attention to detail.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureRN License (NY License ONLY)Two years of Med/Surg experienceTelemetry experience requiredBLS (American Heart Association ONLY)NIHSS (Preferred)Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
