Senior CNC Milling Setup / OperatorLocation: South Windsor, CTKey ResponsibilitiesPerform complete setups and operation of CNC milling machinesInterpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawingsMake program edits and optimize machining processesSelect tooling and determine appropriate feeds and speedsRun first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet specificationsMonitor production runs and make real-time adjustments as neededTroubleshoot machining and tooling issuesMaintain production efficiency while ensuring high-quality outputAccurately complete all required production documentationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspaceSupport training of junior machinists and operatorsFollow all company safety and operational proceduresRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of CNC milling setup and operation experienceStrong understanding of multi-axis milling operationsProficiency with blueprint reading and GD&TExperience with precision inspection toolsAbility to work independently and manage complex setupsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipMust comply with ITAR/EAR regulationsPreferred QualificationsExperience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machinesFamiliarity with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.)Lean manufacturing or process improvement experienceLeadership or mentoring experience
