LiqLok has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to provide multiples of the daily liquidity with just a subset of parties in minutes, allowing market makers to unwind their exposures with success rates greater than 85%.Our products will span multiple asset classes and geographies, with the stated goal of using technology to do what humans can’t to issue in the next phase change in market risk transfer or trading.RoleWe are seeking an Associate or VP, commensurate with experience, to work closely with senior leadership on a wide range of high-priority initiatives across strategy, market analysis, product development, client engagement, and growth. This is a high-exposure role in a startup environment, intended for someone who wants broad responsibility early in their career rather than a narrow, highly segmented path.The role is designed for someone excited by the opportunity to help bridge quantitative thinking, financial markets, theoretical math and advanced technologies (AI, Natural Language Processing, Optimization, etc.) into real-world, large-scale applications. It is also well suited to someone who wants to accelerate their learning curve by working directly with experienced operators (LiqLok’s founding team brings 14+ years of experience working together and 2 previous fintech exits), gaining exposure to clients and senior stakeholders, and building a strong foundation for a long-term career in finance, technology, or entrepreneurship.This role sits within a flat, merit driven environment focused on solving complex, high impact problems, where ideas are evaluated based on contribution rather than seniority and every individual is encouraged to contribute meaningfully. It is designed for someone with a strong competitive drive who is motivated to grow and thrive in a dynamic setting, and who is comfortable analyzing, manipulating, and drawing insights from large datasets.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will span a mix of analytical, strategic, product, and client-oriented work. You will: • Develop a deep understanding of financial markets, products and counterparties • Review product results and larger datasets • Conduct research across asset classes and market structure and synthesize findings into clear insights for internal decision-making • Preparing investor materials, client materials, and other external-facing content • Support product testing, quality assurance and objective alignment • Evaluate financial and non-financial platforms for product inspiration • Help identify opportunities to improve the user experience and core offering • Translate client requirements into clear, actionable features for implementation by the technology teamOver time, the role is expected to become increasingly client-facing, including more direct communication with clients and other external stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required; backgrounds in finance, economics, engineering, math, business, accounting, law, or other analytical fields preferred. • 2–3 years experience in investment banking, investing, consulting, or accounting preferred; exposure to debt capital markets or equity capital markets or liability management a plus. • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working with large datasets and communicating insights clearly • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Series 24 and Series 7 is a plus • Detail-oriented with strong ownership and pride in work product. • Excited by startup environments with high responsibility and fast learning • Interest in financial markets, market structure, and applied technology • Interest in AI tools, product development and client-facing work • Ability to travel is preferred but not required
