Our dedication to quality, exceptional customer service, and unequivocal results allow us to provide the best outcomes to our clients.Job SummaryThe Director of Environmental Services is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the housekeeping department within a hospital facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by coordinating and supporting all departmental activities. The Director partners closely with hospital leadership and clinical teams to maintain high standards of service excellence, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness.Key Responsibilties:Lead, train, coach, and develop Environmental Services associates to deliver consistent, high‑quality serviceOversee the department’s financial performance, including monitoring expenses and productivity metricsDevelop and manage the department’s operating budget, ensuring adherence to financial targetsCoordinate housekeeping operations with clinical and non‑clinical departments to support hospital operationsMaintain active communication with hospital administration and departmental leadersPlan, organize, direct, and supervise daily EVS functions and workflowsEstablish work standards and implement policies and procedures that promote efficiency and qualityEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accrediting agenciesProactively support facility goals, performance improvement initiatives, and patient satisfaction outcomesDemonstrate strong leadership in achieving performance objectives and service standardsParticipate in and support Total Quality Management and continuous improvement initiativesAdditional duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications:3 years of environmental services or housekeeping director or management experience, preferably in a hospital, senior living, hotel, or comparable hospitality environmentDemonstrated ability to analyze and apply financial, productivity, and operational dataStrong business acumen with a focus on operational efficiency and service excellenceExcellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills across all levels of an organizationHigh commitment to customer service, cleanliness, and quality standardsAbility to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment while meeting goals and deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skills, including public speakingProven participative leadership style with the ability to organize, prioritize, and lead teamsStrong organizational, administrative, stress‑management, and follow‑through skillsProficiency in Windows‑based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookApply to TouchPoint today!TouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
