If you like working in a small business where you can make a big impact PMD Aerospace is for youRole Description the Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Fe Springs. This role is responsible for creating, reviewing, and optimizing CNC programs for machining and milling operations, ensuring parts meet design specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, selecting appropriate tools and machining strategies, setting up and verifying programs on CNC equipment, and troubleshooting programming or process issues. The CNC Programmer collaborates with machinists, engineers, and production staff to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and maintain safety and quality compliance. The role also involves maintaining documentation for programs, supporting continuous process improvement, and contributing to efficient production workflows.QualificationsAbility to interpret and apply technical drawings and blueprints, including GD&T and dimensional tolerances.Proficiency in CNC Programming using Mastercam 2022, Vericut. Machine controllers (e.g., Fanuc, or similar). Kitmura, Mori Seiki, Okum, Fadal and mitubishi Hands-on experience with Machining using CNC Milling processes, 3,4,5 axis and 2 axis lathes. Wire EDM a plus. Including tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and workholding desgine and buildProgramming skills related to manufacturing workflows, such as optimizing toolpaths, sequences, and machine operations.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and process improvement.Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.Relevant technical education or apprenticeship in machining, manufacturing technology, or mechanical engineering is preferred.PMD is an equal opertuinity employer, No recruiters please
