Serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers, Unison designs, manufactures and supplies the most advanced components and systems in the world.As a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer, you will drive the design, development, and technical improvement of electronic products, solutions, and systems, including enhancements to existing components. You will plan and execute critical engineering activities that directly impact departmental operations and program outcomes.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Semiconductor design and engineering; designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. They determines design approaches and parameters; analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests & evaluate results. Common skill sets include Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLL, ADC, DAC etc.Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.Required Qualifications* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 9 years of experience in Engineering).* Minimum of 5 years of Engineering experience.Desired CharacteristicsStrong expertise in power electronics and motor control, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal design.Hands-on semiconductor design experience, ideally with HMOS/MOS/CMOS, PLLs, ADCs, and DACs.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to debugging and design refinement.Quality- and safety-minded, with disciplined engineering practices and attention to detail.Collaborative and clear communicator, effective in cross-functional team environments.Proactive, accountable, and willing to mentor others, demonstrating ownership and informal leadership.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
