For more information, please visit www.encoded.com.The Associate Director, G&A Applications will lead the delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications that power Encoded's Finance, Procurement, People/HR, and Contracts Management processes. As a business-facing IT leader, you will partner closely with Finance, Procurement, People & Culture, Legal & Compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Encoded's G&A ecosystem is secure and scalable. You will manage roadmaps, oversee vendors, partner with internal stakeholders, analyze requirements, and drive end-to-end implementations and enhancements across ERP and adjacent platforms, including capabilities that support Encoded's manufacturing and supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesG&A applications strategy & governance{{:}} Manage the application portfolio and multi-year roadmap for G&A systems; enhance support, release management and change control practicesFinancial and procurement systems management{{:}} Serve as the IT-side owner for NetSuite, Coupa and other systems, partnering with Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Manufacturing and other functions to optimize end-to-end processes, data quality, internal controls, and reporting; lead configuration, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities. Enable efficient procure-to-pay processesERP expansion for manufacturing & supply chain{{:}} Drive the implementation and enhancement of NetSuite functionality to support Encoded's manufacturing and supply chain needs (e.g., inventory, lot/serial traceability, warehouse processes, purchasing, quality holds, work orders/production reporting), partnering with CMC and Quality to meet regulatory and business requirementsPeople & Culture applications ecosystem{{:}} Partner with People & Culture, Payroll and other stakeholders to implement, maintain and enhance systems and integrations across the employee lifecycle (hire-to-retire), ensuring accurate master data, access, and reliable integrationsContract management enablement{{:}} Partner with Legal and Procurement to optimize contract lifecycle management (CLM) and related workflowsIntegrations{{:}} Implement and maintain integrations G&A system integrationsBI/Reporting{{:}} Support G&A teams in the development of BI dashboards and standardized reportsDigital transformation & AI enablement{{:}} Identify and deliver automation and AI-driven opportunities across G&A processes (e.g., invoice processing, close variance insights, spend analytics, contract metadata extraction, self-service reporting)Vendor & partner management{{:}} Manage system vendors, implementation partners, and managed service providers; define SLAs, ensure delivery quality, control scope, and optimize cost/performanceSecurity, controls, and compliance{{:}} Ensure appropriate access governance, segregation of duties, and control documentation; partner with stakeholders on risk assessments and remediationOperational excellence & leadership{{:}} Establish G&A application support models and service metrics; lead incident/problem management and continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with software and support vendors, internal and external auditors, and internal stakeholders to enable growthFor candidates based in the SFBA area, the salary range for this position is{{:}} $160,000 to $185,000.For candidates based outside the SFBA area, the salary range is 150,000 to 175,000.Relocation has not been budgeted for this role.Encoded considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and geographic location.This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package.RequirementsBS in an IT-related field or commensurate work experience8+ years of progressive experience supporting and delivering G&A applications in a life sciences environmentDemonstrated experience supporting SOX compliance (ITGCs). Working knowledge of GxP and Privacy compliance preferredDemonstrated experience implementing and enhancing ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred), including manufacturing and supply chain functionalityHands-on understanding of core business processes across record-to-report and procure-to-pay; ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutionsExperience administering and enhancing procurement and contract management platforms such as CoupaExperience supporting an HCM/HRIS platform and key HR/Payroll integrations.
