Construction Project Manager – General Contracting Division – Grocery DepartmentWe have an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager in our General Contracting Division - Grocery Department to be based out of our Woodstock, GA office location.The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse and complex construction endeavors. Our depth of clients expertise ranges from the grocery industry to big box retail as well as both state and Federal government projects in military and healthcare.What You’ll Do:Leads the project team to complete an assigned project on time, on/under budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiencyOutlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordinglyEvaluates new project estimates and completes buyout of all scopes while managing budgets.Conducts cost analysis, while managing budget for the projectPrepares and implements a budget based on estimatesDelegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraintsConducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of riskAddresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project from both Internal and External StakeholdersServe as the single POC (point of contact) company, customers, and subcontractor/vendorsEnsures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practicesDevelop and maintain project schedules utilizing Microsoft ProjectPossess financial acumen to understand revenue recognition, process change orders, and make budget adjustments.Performs other related duties as assignedWho You Are:Excellent with Details - able to catch small errors and consistently produce work with nearly 100% accuracy; focus on quality.Team Player - we over me mentality; considers how actions will impact the whole group.Effective Communicator - strong in both verbal and written modes; displays professionalism in all circumstances to represent the company well.Flexible - understands the shifting business priorities and pivots easily to change.Continuous Improvement - displays a personal desire to learn and grow; contributes new ideas to the company for improvement.What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field a plus, minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Commercial ConstructionProven experience as a Project Manager overseeing complex commercial construction projects valued at $1M+Experience in estimating/quantity take-off is highly desirable.Experience in all scopes of work on a commercial construction project including- MEP’s and site work.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore or other project management related softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at timesMust be willing to travel up to 25%As an EEO employer, Place Services, Inc. is committed to providing all applicants and employees with equal access to employment opportunities, regardless of sex, race, age, color, national origin, disability, pregnancy, religion, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
