(25-26 SY) Health Technician/Temporary Worker (Elementary) - Colorado Springs School District 11

Health Technician/Temporary WorkerPerforms the day-to-day activities of providing student health and health related services according to District policies and procedures under the direction of the building administrator, in consultation with other school personnel. The Health Assistant may carry out tasks delegated by the school nurse, including but not limited to giving medications and administering first aid, monitoring students for safety, assisting with students' personal care, but does not make decisions that require the judgment of a nurse. Additionally, the Health Assistant may support the communication/behavioral/safety/other health needs of students, as appropriate. This is a year-to-year position, depending on the individual school's needs as determined by the principal.
