Are you living your life's work?Job Description:Location: Lancaster, PASchedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, 40 hours/week. Day Shift, M-F. No weekends or holidays.Summary:Clinically supervises and provides support to assigned Healthy Beginning's Plus staff. Patient care includes care to patients in the following age groups: pediatric (newborn through 8 weeks old), adolescent (13 through 18 years), and adult (19 through 55 years).Responsibilities:HBP Nurse Supervisor will oversee HBP Nurse Care Coordinators, HBP Dietitians, HBP billing, Clerical Support Staff and front officer operations, lab operations, certifications, clinical ladder, and related staff competencies.HBP Social Work Supervisor will oversee HBP Social Workers, the STEPS program, Cribs for Kids Program, Car Seat Distribution Program, and management of social work coverage for HBP patients at WBH.Maintains ongoing record of assigned staff’s' performance and documentation including solicitation of input from others and completes department performance review processes.Directly observes and debriefs clinical sessions with staff as needed.Serves as staff consultant on difficult cases and with work process issues (interdepartmental communication problems, etc.).Assists clinical teams with ongoing processes and special projects.Assists the Manager in achieving departmental operational goals relation to productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.Demonstrates an understanding of the principles of leadership by collaborating with other members of the health team in order to determine and achieve patient care goals.SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:Keeps abreast of changes in the field by participating in appropriate educational and training experiences and by sharing this with patients, families, and other personnel as applicable.Facilitates the orientation of new employees.Maintains and monitors office building and assists with obtaining required maintenance.May oversee billing staff/registration and front officer operations. May also oversee lab operations, certification and related staff competencies.Credentials:Registered Nurse - PA (Required) Licensed Social Worker (Required) Education or Equivalent Experience:Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)Education Specialization: Bachelor of Science Nursing (Required for HBP Nurse Supervisor) Equivalent Experience:And 2+ years with two 2 years recent experience as a Maternal Child Health, Pediatric, Behavioral Health or Public Health RN Master of Arts or Science (Required)Education Specialization: Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program (Required for HBP Social Work Supervisor) Equivalent Experience:And 3+ years Three (3) years clinical/hospital experience.
