Program Management Support
Overview
In this role you will support NAVSEA from SPA’s Washington, DC office, delivering comprehensive program management for aircraft carrier development, modernization, and lifecycle support. You will coordinate ship construction, overhaul, and disposal programs and oversee carrier-based technologies and embedded systems. Expect to develop schedules, analyze workloads, prepare briefing materials, and shape acquisition approaches and FFP or cost-related documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure mission-focused execution and timely decision making.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage Integrated Master Schedules (Microsoft Project) with schedule revisions and critical path analysesPerform workload analysis and projections to inform resource planningCreate documentation and briefing materials for milestone decisions and program reviewsDevelop acquisition approaches and Statements of Work (SOW)Oversee contract financial status and related reportingSupport managers of ship construction, overhaul, modernization, and lifecycle programs for Aircraft Carriers and embedded systems
Key requirementsBachelor degree in scientific, engineering, or business management-related fieldAt least ten years of experience in program/acquisition managementDemonstrated experience with Navy ship design, construction, and lifecycle supportActive DoD SECRET clearance and ability to maintain itstrong communicationability to brief senior leadershipcross-functional collaborationIntegrated Master Schedules in Microsoft Projectworkload analysis and resource planningacquisition planning and SOW development
