Mental Health School Support $1,000 Signing Bonus $18/hour Intermountain Deaconess Children’s Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health School Support to lead and oversee our community services in western Montana and telehealth services. The western region includes Lewis & Clark County, west to the state line, and Northwest MT counties. As the Clinical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing our licensed Mental Health Center by ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health care to our clients, managing a team of clinicians, and implementing effective strategies to enhance services delivery of our diverse client population. Your expertise in behavioral health and strong leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding our team of clinicians and driving the success of our programs. Why Intermountain? The impact you will make: Mental Health School Support (MHSS) provides a variety of professional direct care services to children and families with directions, support and training from school-based therapist and outpatient leadership.. MHSS participates in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu according to each child’s treatment plan and agency philosophy. The MHSS implements basic therapeutic interventions and develops relationships with the children under the guidance and clinical directions of School-Based Therapist. The role is responsible for providing quality care and treatment to children and response sensitivity and proactively to the individual treatment and educational needs of the children. This role works within variations of programs to best meet community needs in conjunction with school-based programs. This includes therapeutic support for therapeutic support for children and families in a manner that promotes success in school, the family, and the community. Therapeutic activities are also provides on non-schooldays, during school breaks, and throughout the summer vacation. Works with the family to determine the best treatment plan to meet the child’s needs Providers professional direct care services to children and families in a public-school environment and in the community Responsible for therapeutic interventions and developing trusting and healthy relationships. Integrates with the child’s family, public school staff, and other treating professional to create a cohesive approach to service delivery. Provides parent education and facilitates groups. To be successful in this role: Skills and abilities are typically acquired through two years of related work experience. Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate or bachelor’s degree in social science or closely related field is preferred. Experience and dedication to collaborative working environment. Requires a valid driver’s license.
