Outside Sales Representative

Our client is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Odessa, TX. They are a leading provider of artificial lift equipment, specializing in beam pumping unit (BPU) systems that support efficient and reliable oilfield production. This role focuses on driving long-term growth in the Permian Basin by building strong customer relationships, delivering technical solutions, and positioning BPU products and services to succeed in a competitive market.Benefits:Competitive base salary plus 20% bonusComprehensive benefits package, including 401k & PTOVehicle allowance & mileage reimbursementOpportunity for growth & advancementResponsibilities:Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business drivers, and market segments within the Permian BasinBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers through technical expertise, integrity, and high-quality serviceAnalyze market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategiesDevelop and execute sales strategies specific to beam pumping unit (BPU) systems and related servicesInfluence customer specifications and requirements for BPU equipment and solutionsPrepare proposals in response to customer needs, RFQs, and RFPs, while effectively communicating technical valueProvide informal quotes and recommend tailored solutions to meet customer objectivesIdentify and develop new product and service opportunities to strengthen the BPU portfolioParticipate in bid strategy development for key opportunitiesMaintain and update contacts, leads, and opportunities within the CRM systemCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experienceMeet or exceed sales targets and contribute to long-term regional growthQualifications/SkillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsSolid technical background in artificial lift, preferably with beam pumping unit (BPU) systemsSelf-motivated with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environmentAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesTeam-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to salesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred10–15 years of experience in oil & gas production, artificial lift, or BPU systemsPrior experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce preferredProduction-related experience considered a strong asset
