Job Summary Job Summary To serve under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction in the development and implementation of professional development, cognitive coaching, and new teacher induction for Etiwanda School District employees. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Overall Experience with professional development or leadership at the district/school site level, examples may include: Grade Level Chair, Student Study Team, textbook pilot teacher, district curriculum committee, classroom induction support provider, or other district instructional leadership position; Exemplary teaching experience and effective use of Universal Access time; Commitment to personal professional growth; Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others; Works confidentially and discreetly with staff members; Communicate effectively with other professionals both orally and in writing; Coordinate and organize effectively to meet deadlines, develop long-term programs, and/or write proposals. Elementary Provider Teaching experience in Grades 3-5 classrooms using district-adopted ELA and Math elementary curriculum, as well as Project Read Phonology and i-Ready prescriptive lessons. Experience in systemic reading instruction, foundational literacy and comprehension, and development of fluency and understanding in major math topics such as multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions. Intermediate Provider Teaching experience in Grades 6-8 Math/Science and/or ELA/Social Studies classrooms using district-adopted curriculum and i-Ready prescriptive lessons. Experience in small group instruction, vocabulary and comprehension, and/or development of fluency and understanding in major math topics such as ratios and proportional reasoning, expressions and equations, rational numbers, and linear algebra. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Four years of highly successful teaching and/or administrative experience. A preliminary California Administrative Services Credential is desired CREDENTIALS: Valid California Teaching Credential with CLAD certification.
