Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Charlotte, NC. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project specifications, preparing detailed cost estimates, and analyzing project requirements to deliver accurate bids. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with Projects Managers, Superintendents and various field management to refine budgets, sourcing materials, subcontractor quotes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Consistent communication and effective time management will play a critical role in the successful execution of this position. Qualifications Strong analytical and mathematical skills for developing precise cost estimates and budgetsProficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documentsExperience in project management or construction-related estimating preferredKnowledge of industry-specific software, tools, and technology used in project estimationExcellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectivelyDetail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferredUnderstanding of local and regional building codes, standards, and regulations is a plusProblem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
