Position Description We currently have an opportunity for a Professional Installer. This position is responsible for the placement, installation, and removal of all signs, while adhering to plans in a safe manner that is consistent with company policies and meeting the customer’s requirements. This is a safety sensitive position. Additional duties include but are not limited to: Understand and demonstrate company culture known as “The Pinnacle Way” in all internal and external business functions. Effectively and professionally communicate with customers while projecting a favorable image for company. Follow sequence of install schedule assignments and document scope of work completed daily. Safely load, secure and unload product from truck in an efficient manner. Effectively and safely transport product to and from specified locations. Read, interpret and adhere to plans, drawings, work samples, and specifications. Ensure that work is in accordance with project documents and company installation procedures. Prepare worksite by removing unwanted signage, preparing mounting surfaces, and following all safety policies and procedures in the preparation and installation phases. Perform maintenance, modifications, and repairs to existing signs. Collect payments from customers when necessary. Proactively communicate vehicle service needs to supervisor. Maintain stock of materials and supplies in work vehicles and participate in the inventory and organization of stock in the fleet facility. Capture and document scope of work while following installation procedures. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position Skills and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a valid CDL, or be able to acquire within 60 days, and have a good driving record. Seven to ten year’s construction, welding, electrical or other related experience is preferred. Previous experience with electrical wiring and custom sign installation preferred. Forklift and crane certifications are preferred. OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and OSHA construction training preferred. DOT physical card preferred. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical wiring, OSHA and DOT guidelines, be able to work at high altitudes, read blueprints and maps, and operate and maneuver a trailered motor vehicle. The candidate will have a high attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship and have effective time management and problem-solving skills. We are drug free workplace.
