Project Manager III

Title: Project Manager IIILocation: RemoteType: ContractOur client is seeking a networking IT Project Manager with experience running large concurrent IT projects. The Project Manager III will leverage expertise in strategic planning and PM methodology to solve critical business problems and exceed organizational goals.The role requires experience in:ServiceNow PPM (Project Portfolio Management) tool to manage projectsleading projects to implement ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) and/or ServiceNow IRM (Security Incident Response) modulessupporting Information Security Teams (i.e. an InfoSec PM)Key Accountabilities:Manages 8 to 15 project staff members. Acts as a mentor to new PMs and/or PM Is or IIs.Manages large projects of moderate to high complexity which may include the creation, coordination, and management of advanced level projects, including organization-wide system implementations or upgrades.Takes on leadership opportunities within the PMO.Is a champion for PMO project management methodology.Utilizes established project management standards, processes, policies, methodologies, and tools to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.Understands and complies with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures, and standards.Supports the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store information.Supports all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information.Required Skills:PMI member in good standing.PMP certified.A bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare IT, or related field required. Master's degree desired.8 to 15 years of solid experience as a project manager in IT project management with increasing responsibilities.Information Security or infrastructure background.Networking knowledge and experience is required.Hospital experience is required.Skills in ServiceNow PPM, ServiceNow LRM, and ServiceNow Security Incident Response.Proven ability to manage all stages of the Project Management lifecycle.Extensive experience (at least 5 years) managing large, complex projects, preferably in a healthcare environment, and coaching other team members.Exhibits advanced proficiency in project management methodology, tools, and practices.Demonstrates proficiency in creating detailed documentation for complex projects.Communicates effectively with project staff and stakeholders.
