The Executive Protection / Residential Security Agent will be responsible for safeguarding individuals, property, and assets at residential locations. The role includes conducting regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, responding promptly to security incidents, and managing access control. The agent will also provide courteous and professional customer service to residents and guests, while maintaining a high level of vigilance and confidentiality.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position in Beverly Hills, CA. The Executive Protection Agent – Residential Security is responsible for safeguarding principals, family members, property, and assets at a private residence. The role includes conducting regular patrols, monitoring security and surveillance systems, responding to security and safety incidents, and managing access control. The agent is expected to provide courteous, professional support to residents and guests while maintaining strict vigilance, discretion, and confidentiality.Shifts (8-hour rotations)Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMSwing: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMNights: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AMKey ResponsibilitiesExecutive Protection: Conduct secured movements of the principal for arrivals, departures, and local movements, maintaining route awareness and applying established security driving protocols.Perimeter Security & Access Control: Control entry and exit points, manage access for authorized individuals, verify and log visitors, vendors, and contractors, and deter unauthorized access or loss of client property.Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access points; screen mail and packages; and promptly identify and escalate suspicious activity or safety concerns.Emergency Response: Respond decisively to alarms, medical issues, disturbances, and other incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS when required.Patrols & Area Sweeps: Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols and area sweeps to identify vulnerabilities, safety hazards, and potential threats, informing ongoing threat and risk assessments.Principal & Staff Interaction: Maintain a professional, low‐profile presence around the principal, family members, guests, and household staff, supporting household operations as directed while upholding strict discretion and confidentiality.Incident Documentation: Prepare detailed, timely reports on security incidents, observed vulnerabilities, safety issues, and suspicious activity to support follow‐up, tracking, and corrective action.Protocol Enforcement: Follow residential security SOPs and post orders with precision, apply household security policies consistently across all shifts, and coordinate effectively with other supporting personnel.Required QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of total experience in security or protective operations, including corporate security, estate security, military, or law enforcement assignmentsMinimum 2+ years of direct executive protection or residential security detail experience supporting UHNW principals or high-profile environments.Valid California Guard Card and Firearm Permit CardValid U.S. passport and driver's licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) and CPR/AED certificationCompletion of a recognized Residential Security and/or Executive Protection academy/programAbility to pass comprehensive background investigation and drug screeningLEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit (where applicable)Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)Preferred QualificationsPrior military or law enforcement experienceSpecialized training in emergency medicine, crisis management, surveillance, or intelligence-driven protective operationsStrong working knowledge of Beverly Hills and the surrounding area.Compensation$48–$55 per hour, DOEConsistent 8-hour shifts (day, swing, or nights)Benefits100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan optionOpportunities for advancement within a professional, growing security organization
