Radiologic TechnologistCleveland, OH$2280/ wk The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, on hospital patients across inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department settings. The Technologist ensures high-quality imaging while providing safe, compassionate patient care and following established department and hospital protocols.Radiologic Technologist ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic X-ray examinations on inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department patientsOperate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesPerform portable/mobile X-ray examinations throughout the hospitalAssist with fluoroscopy procedures and surgical imaging as neededVerify patient identification, exam orders, and relevant clinical information prior to proceduresPosition patients appropriately while maintaining patient comfort and safetyFollow radiation safety and ALARA principlesMaintain accurate documentation and patient recordsCommunicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsMaintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concernsFollow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policiesParticipate in scheduled holidays and other coverage as requiredComplete facility-specific orientation and trainingRadiologic Technologist RequirementsCurrent Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Radiologic Technologist licenseARRT certification/registrationCurrent BLS certificationPrevious experience working as a Radiographer/Radiologic TechnologistHospital-based radiography experience requiredExperience performing diagnostic X-rays in inpatient, outpatient, and Emergency Department settingsExperience with portable imaging requiredFluoroscopy and/or surgical imaging experience preferredStrong patient-care, communication, and organizational skillsHunter International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
