Network Engineer

IntePros is seeking Network Engineer II and Network Engineer III candidates for opportunities supporting complex network infrastructure and operations. These positions focus on network troubleshooting, routing protocols, and resolving issues across physical and routing layers. They are excellent opportunities for networking professionals who enjoy collaborative problem solving, technical ownership, and developing their expertise within a supportive team environment.Network Engineer ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and resolve network issues across physical and routing layers.Investigate connectivity problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Support network routing protocols, including BGP, and maintain reliable network performance.Diagnose and resolve issues involving network infrastructure, routing configurations, and related technologies.Collaborate with network engineers and technical specialists to address complex networking challenges.Take ownership of assigned work and independently manage technical responsibilities.Communicate technical issues, troubleshooting updates, and resolutions clearly to team members and stakeholders.Maintain organized documentation related to network incidents, troubleshooting activities, and operational processes.Support continuous improvements to network reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.For Network Engineer III positions, provide technical leadership and guidance while operating with a high degree of independence.Education and ExperienceNetwork Engineer II candidates should have at least two years of networking experience.Network Engineer III candidates should have at least four years of networking experience.Experience troubleshooting network issues at the physical or routing layer is required.Familiarity with BGP and foundational routing concepts is strongly preferred.Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, or other networking platforms is beneficial.Previous experience supporting complex network infrastructure or network operations is preferred.Preferred Skills and QualificationsStrong network troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.Familiarity with BGP, IS IS, Segment Routing, and MPLS.Understanding of routing protocols, network connectivity, and physical network infrastructure.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team goals.
