Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Radiologic Diagnostic Technologist to join our SAN DIEGO and SANTA ANA team! As a Radiology Technician, you will be preparing patients for their procedures by adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and changing controls and exposure to capture the required results. You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior experience working in a medical setting, and excellent attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesGet to know patients to understand their medical needs and concerns, building and maintaining connectionsSet up equipment for testing, adjust immobilization devices, move equipment, and adjust exposure to get the proper resultsThoroughly document all patient services within a patient's chartMaintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessaryFollow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environmentGenerate and verify patient information for online submissionMust do a regular check-in with office staffMust set clear goals on a daily basis to obtain a productive day.Must adhere to company rules & regulationsQualificationsAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification and license requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with MS office sw and internetStrong attention to detailReliable, honest and punctualStrong driving skillsMust be able to communicate with patients and office staff.
