Toddler After Care Assistant

Childpeace Montessori School is seeking a Toddler After Care Assistant. The Toddler After Care Assistant position is hourly, non-exempt, working from 10:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, and is benefit-eligible (medical, dental, and vision insurance). This is a great opportunity for entry-level childcare professionals, students, or individuals interested in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, Human Development, Psychology, and/or are currently working on an undergraduate degree or an AMI diploma.We are looking for candidates whoenjoy being with 1- and 2-year-oldsare consistent and calmare eager to learn from a Montessori-trained lead teacherenjoy detailed preparations of the room for the safety and engagement of the childrenAbout ChildpeaceChildpeace Montessori School is the only AMI recognized school to offer toddler, primary and elementary programs in one convenient downtown Portland location. We also have a middle school program operating adjacent to our Northwest campus. The majority of our administrative staff work out of our main downtown campus in a convenient spot for coffee, urban parks, and beautiful walking trails.While we have staff in multiple locations, we come together often for community building, connection, and support.
