This is a hands-on role where automation, optimization, and problem-solving come together in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.What You'll DoBuild & TransformBring database environments to life by deploying and configuring systems aligned with application blueprintsLead full and incremental data migrations from legacy systems into cloud-based MySQL environmentsDesign and implement ETL pipelines that power efficient and scalable data transformationAutomate & InnovateDrive automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to streamline provisioningEmbed database workflows into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitEnable seamless, repeatable deployments across environmentsOptimize & MaintainMonitor performance, availability, and health across production and non-production environmentsTroubleshoot and fine-tune databases for peak efficiencyManage backups, recovery, patching, and ongoing system maintenanceSecure & ScaleImplement robust data security practices including access control, encryption, and auditingDesign high availability and disaster recovery strategies (Multi-AZ, replication, etc.)Plan capacity and ensure optimal resource utilizationCollaborate & SupportPartner with development and QA teams to support database needs across the lifecycleDeploy and manage reporting solutions using tools like Amazon QuickSight and other BI platformsDocument processes to enable knowledge sharing and audit readinessParticipate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents when neededWhat You BringCore ExpertiseHands-on experience with MySQL (must-have), especially in AWS RDS/Aurora environmentsProven ability to migrate data from legacy or heterogeneous systems to the cloudStrong command over SQL, ETL processes, and data validation techniquesExperience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)Technical StrengthExpertise in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshootingKnowledge of backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery practicesFamiliarity with AWS cloud ecosystem and hybrid environmentsComfort working across Linux and Windows platformsPersonal EdgeStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, high-energy settingExcellent communication skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2-5 years of relevant experience (flexible based on expertise)Willingness to support occasional after-hours work when neededNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Amazon Aurora (MySQL-compatible)Exposure to SQL Server and/or OracleFamiliarity with DevOps tools and monitoring platforms (CloudWatch, OpenSearch, etc.)Knowledge of automation/scripting (Python, Shell)Experience in regulated environments requiring compliance and audit readinessQualified candidates shouldAPPLY NOWfor immediate consideration!This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.We are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.
