Job ResponsibilitiesThe person in this position will provide guidance, professional development, technical support, and coordination of all English as a Second Language (ESL) activities for all eligible local agencies. Assist the state team with statewide training efforts. Assist eligible local agencies with the development of required components of the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education (IEL/CE) grant that include integrated education and training (IET) career pathways related to ESL. Assist eligible local agencies with the development and approval of Workplace Adult Education and Literacy Activities related to ESL. Work with General Counsel and Special Education (SPED) Services as a liaison for programs serving students with special needs.
